Covid-19 and Mortgage advice update
In this time of national emergency we are acutely aware of the tragic consequences for many families and their loved ones. We are also aware of the financial pressure this is causing within our community. We are still open and available to offer advice and solutions to any mortgage related issues or questions you may have in the ongoing crisis.
What can we do to help?
· Offer free advice and updates on what lenders are offering to help you- from payment holidays to converting temporarily to interest only, for either residential mortgages or Buy to Let.
· Look to arrange cheaper rates for you from your existing lender- if you are within 3 or 4 months from the end of a current deal with your lender or languishing on a high variable rate we can approach them directly and swiftly to see if they have a competitive new offer for you- we do not charge to do this for you.
· Remortgage to another lender- this can be for a variety of reasons such as;
· Better rates on offer than existing lender. Some have rates at 0.99%- subject to Loan to value.
· Release funds from your existing equity for cash flow purposes.
· Consolidate existing debts to reduce monthly payments.
· Extend the term/length of the mortgage to help affordability if existing lender won’t allow this.
· No fees from us to arrange any remortgage
In compliance with the Government directive on social distancing we are not offering any “face to face” meetings at any of our offices. However, are operating fully remotely and can service all requirements this way. The Freephone number is 0800 121 7358 but lines can be busy. Please email in the first instance and we will respond as soon as possible.
